Understanding Understandings: Definition of God

Long long ago...an augustous assembly of representatives of the World was held to discuss upon the creation of an acronym for the word Good; they came up with the simplest meaningful one called God.

This is a blog that is created with the intention of developing an understanding of what others understand about concepts, ideas, beliefs, etc.

We have evolved over time. Since the first human on this planet came into existence there are a lot of things that we have understood; lot more to do.

No matter wherever you are from and whomever you are, you will agree with me that you have learnt a lot from your ancestors, parents, elders and so on; such an understanding too evolved in a similar way.

But in this mechanical life, we are unfortunately made to develop a Specialized knowledge rather than Social knowledge or General knowledge. There is a noticeable lag in knowing things.

Specialization of knowledge, although, is useful to mankind and for his/her various pursuits, very little, we will progress socially. For example, think that you are a Computer Engineer and driving home after day's work and find by side, a granny who has met with a fatal accident and no one has helped her (why?). What would you do? No human would just leave away without looking that scene twice, at least. Firstly, most of us have little understanding of the law (simple: I have not read that in my Syllabus), we think that this might lead to our involvement in some idiotic Police case and Court proceedings that we neither wish to attend nor have time. Secondly and most importantly, we do not have an understanding of what has to be done as First-aid, whom to call up for help, etc etc. Why don't we know these things? Not to blame this generation, where everyone is in pursuit of living and living better. Most of us have failed to learn from the past mistakes. We hear everyday people saying "Use Common Sense". You will not encounter the word in the dictionary of life called Common Sense, before you have read the words: Understanding and Experience, because life's dictionary is not alphabetically arranged.

Some people say you should stay away from Negative Sources of Energy. We often misinterpret this. A Source of Energy can be positive or negative but the lessons learnt from it can never be negative, for you have developed a basic understanding of what is moral and what is not. As the Controller of our Souls, we are entitled to and responsible for directing ourselves.

Further to this, we should always understand that in the ocean of Knowledge what we have is a Drop. In this constantly changing world, let us Share our understanding of various things and enrich ourselves and the generations to come.

I have written the above statements on my own. There could be mistakes here and there, which you are entitled to forgive. For your kind information, this is my first blog.
